Flussirari’s commitment in 2022

During 2022, Flussirari demonstrated its commitment to the development of lighting design. We successfully participated in the Light&Building fair in Frankfurt, an international event in the lighting and modern building field. We are taking part in the realization of Saudi Vision 2030, carrying out our project at King Khalid International Airport.

It was an honor to be a part of the Light&Building special edition of the Frankfurt fair. The Flussirari team had the opportunity to meet many customers and potential contacts from all over Europe and beyond. Saudi Vision 2030: an ambitious and exciting project

“Saudi Vision 2030” is an innovative project that aims to completely transform the Saudi economy and reduce dependence on the country’s oil sector. Flussirari participated in the project, supplying Dubai’s King Khalid International Airport with indoor lighting products for terminals 1 and 2 and will continue in 2023, also completing terminals 3 and 4.

The leading international lighting fair, Light + Building, is routinely held every two years. Due to the pandemic, it was postponed several times before returning this year in a one-off special edition. The reopening after a four-and-a-half-year hiatus was a success: 1,531 exhibitors from 46 countries joined for the exclusive autumn edition to present their products in all 12 halls. We of Flussirari were among them at our first unforgettable participation. During the event, a total of 92,838 visitors from 147 countries went to Frankfurt am Main. Along with Germany, most of the visitors came from Italy, the Netherlands, France, Switzerland, Belgium, Spain, Austria, Great Britain, and Poland. Middle Eastern countries, such as the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia, were also very present.

“We are delighted with the great interest of visitors who attended the Light + Building Autumn Edition 2022,” said Wolfgang Marzin, CEO of Messe Frankfurt. “The themes of this event offer answers to the current challenges of our time. Trade fairs are and will remain primarily a place for personal encounters. Business is tightened between people. For all participants: In times of crisis, it takes the courage and willingness to take risks to look to the future in a cheerful and solution-oriented way. The exhibiting companies demonstrated this impressively at the Light + Building Autumn Edition “.

In 2024 the fair will resume as usual with its spring edition. The next Light + Building will take place from 3 to 8 March 2024 in Frankfurt am Main.

The digital turning point of Light + Building

A first, the fair was not only held at the Frankfurt exhibition center but also online. On the Light + Building Digital Extension platform, exhibitors and visitors were able to get in touch with each other and expand their network based on intelligent matchmaking. This is still possible until October 14, 2022. Not only matches, lectures, debates, and presentations are also available on-demand on the platform.

The foundations of the future of lighting design

The sector dedicated to electrical engineering, home, and home automation, has mainly focused on technical innovations that increase energy efficiency in homes and buildings. Among the most growing fields, we certainly find renewable energy sources such as solar or photovoltaic panels, charging management systems for electromobility, and intelligent lighting control. Efficiency and sustainability have played a fundamental role in the lighting sector. High-quality modular lighting systems in combination with digital control will only be able to provide light when it is needed.
